the Washington DC metro-area philanthropic community the people who are heading the fight against Womens Cancer.

Critters
For the Cure™ is a unique women's cancer support organization, now in it’s fourth year of operation.
It’s powerful programs have recently been profiled by The Discovery Channel,
The Washington Post, The DC Examiner and Washington’s Finest.
Perhaps the most
important part of the CFTC mission, is it’s dedication to benefiting women in
the Washington D.C area. Ninety
percent of every dollar donated to CFTC goes directly to providing such
assistances as wigs, prosthetics, groceries, transportation to treatment, rent,
medical bills and co-payments, massage therapy and biofeedback...even pet
walkers and critter sitters. Unlike larger cancer organizations, patients do
not have to endure a long waiting process – women receive the response and
assistance they need immediately. It is not uncommon for a check to be written
the same day as the request.
